The planned application process

Get ready to join.

1

Create or sign into your MyDriver account

Use the existing app and follow its contractor account and service-role options.

2

Submit your application information

Choose rides, errands or both, and provide the information required for your role. Review all terms before paying or accepting an agreement.

3

Complete screening and review

Our planned screening package includes a background check and driving record. MyDriver reviews the results and application; submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

4

Complete agreements and onboarding

Approved contractors complete applicable agreements and onboarding requirements before taking jobs. Contractor availability will be announced as launch preparation is completed.

Your next step

Explore your role in MyDriver.

The existing app requires sign-in. Recruitment and updated application terms are being prepared.

What would you like to do?

Driver: give customers rides, with the option to build familiar connections through Ride Squad.

This opens the existing app in a new tab. Your choice here is informational and is not submitted as an application. After sign-in, follow the contractor role options. Review the current application terms before submitting or paying a screening fee.

Before applying

A few things
to know.

Can I drive for someone in my family?

A family member may apply to join MyDriver and, after meeting applicable requirements and approval, be added to the customer’s Ride Squad. Being related does not bypass screening or onboarding.

Can I offer both rides and errands?

Yes. MyDriver supports a dual-service contractor account. You must meet the applicable requirements and complete agreements for each service.

Does a shopping card pay my earnings?

No. Shopping purchase funds are separate from contractor earnings. The runner purchasing-card provider and funding setup are still under review.

Are applications and jobs live?

Launch preparation is underway. You can explore the existing account and role screens, but updated application terms and paid-service availability have not been announced.
